RESPONSIBILITY BEYOND THE INTERN LEVEL
During two semesters of internship with Kao Brands, I got my hands dirty developing and implementing packaging and promotion rollouts for dozens of constantly-evolving products in the Jergens, John Frieda, Bioré, Curél and Ban brand families. Needless to say, there was no shortage of rich creative work to go around!

As part of a lean in-house creative team, I took on design-intensive work far exceeding typical internship scope. I contributed to package concepting and execution for Ban Total Refresh wipes and led the design for limited edition product packaging for multiple hair and beauty care products.

While at Kao, I experienced the end-to-end rebrand and packaging process for Jergens. A key piece of this process was creating transition packaging to prepare consumers for the rollout of a refreshed visual identity and pack design for the full Jergens product line. Key contributions include transition package design conceptualization, leading the design of the new pack violator, and collaborating with senior marketing leaders and external vendors to ensure optimal design and production feasibility. I also conceptualized product packaging and visual identity for Jergens BB Cream and Jergens Shea new product launches.
