A SHOP IS BORN
In 2019, my husband and I hosted our destination wedding in wine country — an event we designed less for ourselves and more as an unforgettable experience for our guests. From fully custom stationery and signage to personalized favors and an interactive scavenger hunt, I created thoughtful touchpoints to surprise and delight at every turn. After returning home, I found myself missing the creative energy that had fueled the wedding, so I launched an Etsy shop to share the handcrafted goods that had resonated so strongly — and Southpaw Paperie & Gifts was born. With a name inspired by my left-handedness, Southpaw Paperie reflects my passion for bespoke design.

Since its launch, my shop has achieved over 2,500 sales and a 5-star rating. In the past, I handled everything from product innovation and brand building to photography, client communication, budgeting, and social media -- but these days I oversee my sister-in-law who manages the day-to-day.
